Operation Turkey Dinner: Ways to help!

We will start accepting the following on November 1, last day to donate is November 17:

The Secret Santa Project Applications

Applications for The Secret Santa Project will be taken via email November 2 through December 2 to the-wishing-star-tn@hotmail.com ( DO NOT SEND BEFORE 11/2/12)



 And in person at The Crazy Cupcake from 12 to 2:30 on November 8,15, and 29th.

If you are a senior citizen or have no children. Please omit the children section.

And write you only need a meal.

What county do you live in? ( We ask that you reside in The Tri-Cities TN/VA area (Greene, Hawkins, Sullivan, Washington, Johnson, carter, Unicoi counties etc.)

Are you able to travel to The Crazy Cupcake in Jonesborough  to pick up your gifts and dinner? You will be responsible for picking it up. We will not have deliveries for Christmas. 

No shows will not be allowed to apply for further assistance.

If you submit via email and not in person you be asked to provide ID & proof of your children are your children,  when picking up your gifts. ( Your recent DHS award letter is enough if you have one)

If you come in person please know the above info, and bring in your id, proof of income/bills, and identification of your children. If you have a DHS award  letter, that is all you need. We do not turn someone away for gross income. If you feel the need you need assistance, we are here to listen. We work completely on donations, so we always strive to provide for every family. But we can't guarantee that.

Operation School Bus!!


Operation School Bus Donation Info:



Applications are now closed.
We have over 40 children in our area seeking Assistance this year.

Donations will be accepted starting July 15,2012 till August 2,2012 !! At the Crazy Cupcake, Olsen's martial arts, and North Ridge Community Church. Also Dalton Ln. Photography is donating a book bag of supplies with each Back to School Session.
